Welcome to my Crescent Photography Blog! As well as post about the projects I have been working on expect scribblings on anything else that catches my eye!

Cobbles and Cadence

Bath is great for unusual events, there is always something going on and last week it was the Pearl Izumi Tour Series finale. The tour pitches teams of elite riders against each other on challenging city centre routes throughout the UK and having seen other rounds on TV I was looking forward to seeing it in the flesh. The course went though Victoria Park, over the cobbles of the Royal Crescent, round The Circus before charging down Gay Street towards a dangerous looking right hander back to the park. The pace is frantic; we witnessed one nasty crash and at one point the chap on the tannoy described the race as a blood Bath!

Here are a few shots taken whilst strolling round the course. Bath is great to photograph on a summers evening and made a great backdrop to the event.
