Last month I had the pleasure of covering Bath Spa University's Summer Graduation at The Abbey in Bath. Here are some of my favourite images from the event. Beware of flying mortar boards!
Ask any of my friends and they'll tell you I'm certainly not an expert when it comes to dancing however as soon as the group of final year students took to the stage it was obvious even to me that they were a very talented group. Coupled with the fantastic theatre facilities and lighting technicians the pressure was certainly on to capture some good images.
Bath is great for unusual events, there is always something going on and last week it was the Pearl Izumi Tour Series finale. The tour pitches teams of elite riders against each other on challenging city centre routes throughout the UK and having seen other rounds on TV I was looking forward to seeing it in the flesh.
During a recent trip visiting family I volunteered my service to capture the inaugural Past It Masters Cup played at the beautiful Warwickshire golf course in, you guested it, Warwickshire.
The eclipse took place this morning over a misty Bath, the perfect chance to play with my 50mm prime lens, the latest edition to my bag. Usually you would reach for a long zoom lens and filters to take detailed shots of the halo around the moon but with a 50mm I was looking to take some arty shots with some context.
