Bath stone looks fantastic in the autumn sunshine and with my elbow well on the way to recovery I couldn't resist picking up my DSLR again. For my first outing I probably should have chosen a small light lens but these were all taken with my 70-200 f/2.8 which is the heaviest lens in my bag...
Earlier this year I bought a FujiFilm x100, a fixed focal length digital camera with styling and controls reminiscent of traditional film cameras. It's small size and weight makes it's the perfect camera for a restless photographer with his arm in plaster!
Typing this with my left hand is tricky, editing pictures with my left hand is trickier and thanks to all the controls being on the right, using a DSLR with my left hand is pretty much impossible. Which is why as a right handed photographer this 'self portrait' of my right arm is not great news!
